The free plugin gives every published passport a QR code as PNG, which is enough for a care label. Print at scale is another matter: a code on a packaging, a hang tag printed by the thousand, a poster or a shop sign wants a vector, so that it can be sized to the job without ever going soft. The Pro add-on adds that download.
Where it is
Wherever the free plugin offers the PNG, the add-on adds Download SVG next to it: in the QR code and public link box of the passport editor, and in the QR dialog of the products list. The Export screen packs the SVG of every published passport into one ZIP.
The same code, in vector
The SVG is not a second encoding of the address. The add-on reads the exact module grid the free plugin drew for the PNG and traces it as vector shapes, so the two files are the same code: same finder squares, kept solid, same quiet zone of four modules included in the file, same indigo on paper. A code that exists once cannot disagree with itself, and a QR that disagrees with itself is a QR that does not scan.
Everything on the QR codes and labels page about what the code encodes and how to print it applies to the SVG as it does to the PNG: keep the margin, keep the contrast, test a proof.
Using it
An SVG opens in any design tool and in every professional print workflow. Place it at the size the medium needs and it stays sharp, from a few millimetres on a woven label to the width of a window. Do not redraw or "clean up" the shapes: the rounded data modules are decorative and harmless, but the solid finder squares and the empty margin are what a phone camera looks for first.
The colour can be changed in the design tool as long as the contrast holds, dark code on a light ground; the file is plain SVG with nothing hidden in it.
